Ghana Is Setting Up Special Court For Its Creative Arts Industry

Through a press release, Ghana’s Tourism, Arts and Culture ministry has announced plans to establish a specialized court to handle matters around copyright and other creative industry legal issues.

The court dubbed the Arts Rights Court which will operate under the country’s High Court and “will facilitate the expeditious resolution of specific duties that affect the creative arts industry to protect the rights and interests of creative practitioners.” The statement reads
