Vivian Olang has finally released visuals for her indulgent love ballad Rain off her recent project EP ONE. The vocally blessed singer is among artists who have previously graced the |Afroway pages, her music bouquet is an intersection of jazz, Afro-electro, and rich soul melodies plus her terrific vocals to crown it all.
According to the literature on the single’s YouTube page, Rain is a ‘fusion of alternative soul, earthy soul, and a hint of contemporary jazz’. The song starts with subtle keys that gradually transition into nimble percussion, hi-hats, and sizzling throughout the song with offset antic poses for animated rain sounds, for that emotional experience, which is prominently explored on the earthy-feel black and white visual rendition.
Ms Olang is expressing her desire to be held by her lover, whom she asks to show intense affection that would be compared to that never-ending rain pour, ‘like thunder, our love’ she poses.
Ms Olang’s second project dubbed EP ONE was released under The Electric Caravan, July 2017.
