Ghanaian Hip Hop act M.anifest released his new and most anticipated album “No Where Cool” on September 8. The album has already created a lot of excitement among his fans from across the globe and especially in Ghana and Africa as a whole.
The reputable artist has featured superb acts from around Africa on the project that is full of unrivaled artistry both in the production, rich poetry, and equally creative visual concepts to accompany the music. Among the artists featured on “No Where Cool” include; Nigeria’s Brymo (on Sugar & Goodbye), Dark Suburb (on Hand Dey Go, Hand Dey Come), Ghanaian Worlasi (on Time No Dey), South African Nomisupasta (On Crooked Cupid Bow), Tumi Molekane (SA) (on B.E.A.R & Rich People’s problems), Ghanaians Dex Kwasi (Palm Wine & Whiskey), Paapa (on Ozymandias) Cina Soul and reputable Ghanaian author Ama Ata Aidoo (on Now Here Cool). The 14-track album is M.anifest’s second album, a package of unsurpassed rich African Hip Hop content.
The album is laced with deep poetic lyrics that tell stories of love, intricacies of broken relationships, politics and the choices make as human beings, all in all a unifying project that brought together a host of artists from Africa including Zimbabwean Kudzanai Chiurai who did the album cover art.
And as everyone continues to experience the ear worming effects of “No Where Cool”, M.anifest has dropped “Crooked Cupid Bow” which features the agile vocals from South African songbird Nomisupasta. The video shot in Ghana and directed by Guto Bussab and Alfonzo Franke, is a depiction of wickedly incrusted artistry, and aptitude.
“No Where Cool” is available on itunes.
