About fortnight ago Ugandan singer Solome Basuuta released “Can We Stay” a new record which comes after she took a short break and is a follow up to “Met A Man” which was equally a spellbinding tune but in this case her latest release, Solome expresses her love for the better half from the deep end of her soul.
The love ballad is a soulful conversational single, where she expresses her love, in moments of fantasy she pours out her heart on laid back soulful instrumental. Solome vocals put the listener on a rollercoaster of some sorts in the end leave you wrested in the paradise of love. She describes the limber single as a celebration of love and intimacy, as the guitar strums to guide her expressions Solome lets her rich vocals free in deep moments of intimacy when she talks about how her man looks at her which leaves her powerless crying out for love asking her man to stay.
Solome is an approved singer and vocalist, she has released a number of incredible gospel tunes which have been majorly a reflection of her musical ingenuity and talent. “Can We Stay” is a single off Solome’s upcoming EP titled ‘Song Of Solome: Chapter 1’ and was produced by the equally talented Fred Wallace of First Love Studio in Uganda.
