Jamaican reggae star Chronixx has announced plans for an African music tour set to begin in June 2016. The tour will see him perform in various cities across the motherland.
Cronixx born Jamar Rolando McNaughton will be accompanied by his Zincfence Redemption band on the tour dubbed “Chronixx Africa Soul Circle Tour”
The artiste and his band will first perform in East and South Africa then in West Africa. He is however yet to announce the dates for the West African tour.

Kampala, Uganda – June 17
Nairobi, Kenya – June 18
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – June 19
Johannesburg, South Africa – June 25
Capet Town, South Africa – June 26
Chronixx’s has teamed up with Brooklyn based Federation Sound on his latest mixtape dubbed “Roots and Chalice” which features acts such as Dre Island, Eesah, Kelissa and Kabaka Pyramid. The mixtape is a work around incredible freestyles on well assorted rhythmic beats. Chronixx’s first and successful mixtape “Start A Fire” was released in 2012.
The 24 year old-Mentored by Danny Browne-has worked with well established musician such as Proteje, Inner Circle, Major Lazer also Lutan Fyah and Konshens. He was nurtured by the likes of his father Chronicles, with influences from Burro Banton, Norris Man and Gregory Isaacs.
Chronixx’s first album is scheduled for release this year
