Muthoni The Drummer Queen, Boss Lady and Kagwe Mungai have teamed up to release a new single ‘Hot This Year’. The track, written by both artistes promises to be a club banger going by the heat it has generated thus far.
The joint has a hip hop feel and features strong Kenyan urban music rhythms. Both artists have excelled on this jam with riveting characteristic delivery. The song bears simple lyrics accompanied by a smashing synthesized beat.
Kagwe Mungai who also doubles up as a producer is the man behind ‘Give It To Me’ hit single in which he featured his country-mate King Kaka released in 2015. The same year, Muthoni Drummer Queen released ‘Baby Don’t Go ‘which she worked with South Africa’s Khuli Chana.
